The town of SCAMMON puts on a FAMILY FALL FESTIVAL each year in the fall. It is a time for the community to come together and have fun while interacting with face painting, bounce houses, games, music, food, GIVE AWAYS and visiting! IT IS ALL FREE!!!!!
This year the Festival will be Saturday, the 19th of October. It starts at 4 PM and goes until 6 PM.
This year we have Homemade Chili, Beef Hotdogs, Homemade Cinnamon Rolls and Chips, as well as water and soda pop, while supplies last.
Throughout the event there will be Give Aways randomly drawn by names pulled from a bucket. Give AWAYS include: Wood Farms Pumpkin Patch for 4, Kid’s games, a reversible Christmas and Winter Welcome sign, a Scarecrow Welcome sign, Bath n Body Soaps, Snack Basket, Mums, and pumpkins. To win, just add your first and last name to the back of a ticket and place it in the bucket marked for this. You must be present to win. If your name is drawn, you can go pick out which give away you want from the above-mentioned items. You are responsible to keep track of it. We are not responsible if someone thinks it is there’s and walks off with it.
We also have the BIG GIVEAWAYS that will be drawn at 6 pm. There’s a boy’s bike, a girl’s bike, a Off-We-Go Nutrition Tea Basket ($60 value) and a KC Chiefs Canopy with an extended Awning. The rules are a tad different but kind of the same.
The bikes will have 2 separate containers. One is for the boy’s bike. Rules: 1 entry only * You must be a boy 5-16 years old * must be present to win. The other is for the girl’s bike. You get 1 entry * must be a girl the age of 5-16 years old * be present to win. Add your first and last name to the back of the ticket and place in the correct bucket. (((((( Reason for rules: Boy and Girl bikes have bars made to fit the proper gender incase the child slips off the seat. We are not responsible for accidents. ))))))
The ADULT GIVE AWAYS are meant for those 18+. Write your first and last name on the back of the ticket and place in the correct bucket. If you’re the first name drawn, you can pick whether you want the Canopy or the Off-We-Go Nutrition Basket. The second name picked will receive the last gift not picked.
