With summer comes the fun of vacations and Church Camps! Kids always look forward to Church Camp to reconnect with the friends they made in years past. They always pick up where they left off, so to speak.
We adults do the same! Yet, there is a greater responsibility attached to we adults! For some, there’s work responsibilities that help each camp run smoothly. People working in all areas !
Some of those people are well seen due to the responsibility they carry, while others are not noticeable but are well needed to keep the week going in the right direction. We have Leaders, Teachers, Speakers, Singers, Musicians, Cooks, Cleaners, Servers, Maintenance Crews, Volunteers, Bell Ringers, MC’s, Grocery Getters, Prayer Warriors, Ushers, Inviters, Treasurers, Secretaries, Laymen, Bus Route picker uppers, Nurses, Coaches, Team Leaders, Sponsors, Dorm Parents, Donors, etc for the list seems to keep growing …
Whatever your responsibility is at any or each of the camps do it heartily as to the Lord, just as Scripture requires. You can find that in Colossians 3:23. That’s a big game changer when you are doing it to and for the Lord and not for recognition down here.
Since our church is very much involved in more than one Church Camp during the summer, we have some dates that we will not be having a Community Meal on specific Tuesday evenings.

We will still be here for our normal Sunday Morning services for both Sunday School and Sunday Morning Worship, as well as most Sunday evening services throughout the summer. The only time we will not be available for an evening service will be during the General Church Camp that comes off in August.
